Promoting Science, Reason and Humanist Values in the greater Pittsburgh area.
President and Chair
Dana L. Morganroth is a lifelong fan of science, reason and critical thought, and a humanist and non-believer since college days.
A chance encounter with Paul Coelho’s powerful statement “The world is changed by your actions, not by your opinions” came at an opportune time and resonated deeply, leading him away from a business career and towards involvement with service organizations whose vision(s) of a better world most closely matched his own.
Dana’s current contributions to several organizations which promote reason, science, humanism and secularism is informed by his professional experience and career in the areas of organizational development, management consulting and manufacturing management.
Dana also serves on the Boards of Sunday Assembly Pittsburgh and the Humanist Community of Pittsburgh, and previously served on the Boards of the Lupus Foundation of Colorado and several Colorado Division of Wildlife’s resource management programs.
